A Headboard that Becomes the Room

When it comes to creating truly bespoke interiors, every design challenge opens the door to innovation. This project designed in collaboration with interior designer Robyn Karp, is the perfect example of how craftsmanship and creativity come together to solve a complex architectural obstacle.

While at first glance the room appears perfectly structured, the ceilings were not straight. A common quirk in many buildings. This made creating a symmetrical, floor-to-ceiling installation especially difficult. For a design that demanded precision, even the slightest irregularity presented a challenge

Instead of a conventional headboard, the entire wall was transformed into a geometric panel installation that seamlessly integrates with the bed itself. Each panel was carefully measured and adjusted to account for the natural inconsistencies of the architecture. Though they appear identical, every panel is slightly unique, crafted to fit its exact position within the composition The result is a flawless wall-to-wall headboard. An architectural feature that feels both natural to the space and elevated in design.

The geometric motif gives the room rhythm and movement while grounding the bed as the focal point. To complete the look, Robyn selected striking lighting fixtures that enhance the dimensional quality of the panels, adding depth and atmosphere to the space.
