About Luigi Gentile

Since 1991, Luigi Gentile has been deeply involved in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of high-end custom furniture. Before founding BESPOKE, he served as President of Marketing and Design at Avery Boardman, Ltd., where he honed his skills working with discerning clients and top-tier designers. Over his career, Mr. Gentile has had the privilege of collaborating with some of the world’s most respected designers and architects, who have relied on his expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and devotion to the craft to ensure their visions were flawlessly realized.

Among his notable collaborations, Mr. Gentile worked closely with Vladimir Kagan, contributing to all phases of the creation of the Couture showroom at the New York Design Center (200 Lexington Ave., NYC), which continues to thrive as a landmark destination for sophisticated, custom interiors.

Luigi Gentile’s philosophy centers on total immersion and personal oversight. He believes that the only way to guarantee exceptional results is to be intimately involved at every stage of the process — from the initial conceptual sketches, to detailed CAD drawings and renderings, and finally to inspecting the finished product at his local factory. This hands-on approach ensures that each piece not only meets, but exceeds, the high standards expected by his clients.
